Safe and Pain-Free Dental Care in Helsingborg
At Luxadent in Helsingborg, we offer dental care under anesthesia for those who wish to be completely relaxed during their treatment. Anesthesia is a safe and proven alternative that ensures you sleep deeply throughout the entire procedure. It is suitable for those who have dental anxiety, strong gag reflexes, or want to avoid experiencing the treatment.
We are open every weekday, with late hours until 8 PM, and also open on Saturdays to help you easily find a convenient time.
What Dental Care Under Anesthesia Involves
During anesthesia, you sleep deeply with the help of medication. The dentist can perform anything from fillings to implants and surgery while you sleep. The quality of the treatment is the same as with regular dental care, but you avoid stress and discomfort.
Is Anesthesia Right for You
Dental anesthesia is a good option if you
• feel anxious about dental care
• have a strong gag reflex
• need extensive treatments
• want to sleep throughout the entire procedure
The Process Explained
Before the Visit
We conduct an examination while you are awake and take X-rays if needed. You fill out a health form that our anesthesiologist reviews. In some cases, you may receive a sedative before the visit.
During the Treatment
The anesthesiologist will calmly and safely induce sleep. Our team then performs the entire treatment while you sleep.
Afterwards
You will be gently awakened by the anesthesiologist and stay for recovery for about 30 minutes before you can go home.
Side Effects
Common but mild side effects may include slight nausea or a sore throat. These typically resolve quickly. Pain relief is provided if needed.
